Tokyo is the capital city of Japan, and is the nation's undisputed center of politics, economy, and culture. From its humble origins as a desolate fishing village, the city has now grown to become a vibrant, sprawling megalopolis housing over 13 million people (38 million if we include the entire metropolitan area).
- Tokyo has two major international airports: Haneda and Narita. Please see the accessibility page for instructions on getting from either airport to the conference venue.
- Temperature in late November is typically around 14°C high and 8°C low (57 °F and 46 °F, respectively). The weather can be unpredictable at times, so umbrellas/raincoats might come in handy.
Outside of hotels, department stores, etc. English speakers can be hard to find unfortunately. In order to not miss out on the best the city has to offer, we recommend planning your trip well in advance!
